This offshore visa assists in your application of a partner visa while living outside of Australia. However, you can even visit Australia on a visitor visa while waiting for your outcome. You will be granted a PR after two years of applying for this visa, (Subclass 100)

- The age of applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Applicants must be residing outside of Australia
- Applicants must be married to Australian citizens.
SUBCLASS 300 – PROSPECTIVE MARRIAGE VISA
A prospective marriage visa is for a couple willing to get married but both parties live in different countries. Under this circumstance, a partner can come to Australia within 9 months, and get married. This visa can only be applied offshore. Moreover, the applicant must be above 18 and have met before to get eligible for the visa grant. Accordingly, the applicants must get married and apply for Subclass 820/801 within 9 months.
SUBCLASS 461 – NEW ZEALAND CITIZEN FAMILY VISA
Your partner/family member must be a citizen of New Zealand and besides this must hold a subclass 444 special category visa for getting qualified for this visa grant.
You can apply for a visa in both cases i.e. by living outside or inside Australia.
