SUBCLASS 482- TEMPORARY SKILL SHORTAGE VISA

The short-term stream allows employers to nominate international workers on short-term bases. Thus the nominated employee can stay and work in Australia for up to 2 years.

SUBCLASS 186 – EMPLOYER NOMINATION SCHEME VISA

Direct Entry Stream

  2. Your occupation must be on the relevant list of eligible skilled occupations.
  3. You must have at least Competent English.

Labour Agreement Stream

This visa allows skilled workers to live and work in Australia permanently after being nominated by the Australian Business Owners or employees. The Labour Agreement stream will be appropriate for you if you are currently working or will work for an employer who is a party to a labour agreement.

    1. You must hold a 457, TSS or related bridging visa A, B or C
    2. Usually, you must have worked for your employer full-time for at least three years.
    3. Your employer must nominate you.

SUBCLASS 494 – SKILLED EMPLOYER SPONSORED (REGIONAL) PROVISIONAL VISA

This visa is designed for regional employers to identify labour shortages within their region and sponsor skilled workers. The stay under this visa is 5 years along with the PR pathway under the Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) visa (Subclass 191) category.
